  • This is entirely up to you! You decide. We offer face to face and virtual appointments at at a date and time convenient to you.

  • A private prescription is a medical prescription which is not supplied by the NHS. This could be from a medical doctor, a clinician (such as a pharmacist), dentist, or a veterinary prescription for an animal.

  • After the consultation has been concluded and a treatment plan has been agreed, the prescription can be sent directly to your nominated pharmacy. If within the Harpenden area this can be arranged by us.

    If outside of the area, we can contact pharmacies near to you to assess whether they will accept the prescription electronically. The original hand written will then be subsequently posted to them. We will arrange this for you.

    Alternatively you are welcome to collect the prescription and take it to your nominated pharmacy.

    In essence the choice is yours! You decide!

  • This varies on the medicine(s) prescribed and the quantity. A patient will usually have to pay for the dispensing of the medication and the full cost of the medication.

    This cost varies from between each community pharmacy. We can help your source the medication to ensure the cost of the medicines(s) are kept at a minimum.

  • Payment must be made on confirmation of the appointment.

    Payment details will be sent to you.

  • 12 hour policy

    We all know that life is busy and situations can arise out of your control.

    Being a small business we kindly ask patients to notify us as soon possible. If prior to the 12 hour period, we will be happy to re-arrange your consultation to an alternative date and time convenient to you.

    If the cancellation is within the 12 hours of the appointment, a 50% fee will be charged.
